Questions worth answering before your last day of work

When should I claim Social Security?

You can claim from 62 to 70. For each year you wait past full retirement age, up to 70, the monthly check grows about 8%. For a married couple, the higher earner’s claiming age also sets the survivor’s check, so we look at that first.

Can we afford to retire at 62, 63 or 65?

We put your pension, Social Security and savings on one year-by-year income plan, so you can compare the dates in front of you instead of guessing.

How do we pay for health insurance before Medicare at 65?

COBRA, a marketplace plan or a spouse’s plan at work. Marketplace premiums follow your income, so we plan those years together.
